Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 July 2026

1. Who provides the Service

Quizlo (the “Service”, at app.quizlo.eu) is provided by David Azarian, K Beranovu 1190/15, Dolní Chabry, 184 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO): 17064619, a sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Licensing Register (živnostenský rejstřík) (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@quizlo.eu, tel. +420 774 147 594. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and confirm you have read the Privacy Policy.

2. The Service and eligibility

Quizlo lets you build and publish quizzes, collect submissions (“Leads”), view analytics, and integrate via webhooks, embeds and exports. The Service is intended for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old and have the capacity to enter into contracts. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

3. Your account

  • Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Notify us promptly at info@quizlo.eu of any suspected unauthorised access.

4. Plans, trial and billing

  • Available plans, their limits (number of published quizzes, monthly leads, features) and prices are shown in the app on the Billing page. We may adjust limits and prices for future billing periods with prior notice in the app or by email.
  • New accounts receive a time-limited trial of paid features; no card is required, and the account reverts to the Free plan automatically when the trial ends.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel, change plans or update payment details anytime in the Stripe billing portal (Billing → Manage subscription); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we may downgrade the account to the Free plan after Stripe's payment retries are exhausted.
  • When your plan allows fewer published quizzes or leads than you currently use, the excess quizzes stop being publicly served and lead collection pauses at the monthly limit – your data is never deleted for exceeding limits.
  • Prices are final. The Provider is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the stated prices. Should the Provider become VAT-registered, prices will be updated and VAT applied as required by law.
  • If you initiate an unjustified payment reversal (chargeback) instead of using the cancellation and refund process above, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account and seek reimbursement of the demonstrable costs we incur in resolving the dispute.

5. Free plan and badge

The Free plan includes a visible “Made with Quizlo” badge on published quizzes. Removing, hiding or obscuring the badge on the Free plan is not permitted.

6. Fair use

“Unlimited” features are subject to fair use. We may throttle or restrict usage that materially exceeds what is reasonable for a single business (e.g. automated mass traffic, resale of capacity) after notifying you where practicable.

7. Your content and your Respondents' data

  • You retain all rights to quizzes you create and to Leads you collect. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, display and transmit this content solely to provide the Service.
  • For personal data of quiz Respondents, you are the data controller and we are your processor. The Data Processing Agreement (Annex 1 to these Terms, available in full at app.quizlo.eu/legal/dpa) is an integral part of these Terms and applies automatically whenever you collect personal data through the Service. It defines the data processed, security measures, and the sub-processors we engage.
  • You are responsible for having a lawful basis for collecting Leads, for providing your own privacy notice to Respondents (the quiz consent checkbox lets you link it), and for honouring Respondents' data-subject requests. Export (CSV) and deletion tools are provided in the app.
  • You must not use the Service to collect special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR – e.g. health, religion, sexual orientation), data of children, or payment card numbers.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break any law, infringe third-party rights, or collect data deceptively (e.g. phishing, impersonation);
  • send spam or use collected Leads contrary to applicable e-marketing rules;
  • publish unlawful, defamatory, hateful or fraudulent content;
  • upload malware, probe or disrupt the Service, or circumvent plan limits, rate limits or the badge;
  • abuse the AI generator (e.g. attempts to generate content unrelated to building a quiz);
  • resell or white-label the Service without our written consent.

9. AI features

AI-generated quiz drafts are produced by a language model and may be inaccurate or inappropriate. They are drafts only – review and edit them before publishing. You are responsible for the content of quizzes you publish.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without guaranteed uptime. We may modify, add or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and enable data export.

Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure to perform or for unavailability of the Service caused by circumstances of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorist attacks, epidemics, widespread internet outages, cyber-attacks such as DDoS, or outages at our key sub-suppliers (for example hosting or payment providers).

11. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and the Quizlo brand remain our property. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

The Service may include third-party or open-source components governed by their own licence terms. Our warranties and liability do not extend to those third-party components beyond what those third parties provide.

12. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account); deletion is immediate and irreversible.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, create legal risk, or remain in payment default. Where practicable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export data.
  • Sections that by their nature survive (liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

13. Warranties and liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties. We are not liable for the content of quizzes created by users or for how users handle Leads.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
  • Our aggregate liability for damage caused to you by defects of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or CZK 2,500 if you paid nothing).
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Czech law – in particular liability for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for harm to natural rights of an individual (§ 2898 of the Czech Civil Code) – nor the statutory rights of consumers.

14. Indemnity

If you use the Service in the course of business, you will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your quizzes, your handling of Leads, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Consumers

If, exceptionally, you use the Service as a consumer: you agree that paid services begin immediately upon purchase at your express request. You may withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving reasons (notice to info@quizlo.eu suffices); the refund is reduced pro rata for the period already provided. Consumer disputes may be brought to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz), which is the body for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms. We will announce material changes at least 14 days in advance in the app or by email. If you do not agree, you may terminate the contract before the changes take effect; continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance.

17. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Disputes with businesses will be resolved by the courts competent for our registered seat. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.

18. Final provisions

If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. You may not assign the contract without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations under this contract (including the entire agreement for provision of the Service) to any third party without your prior consent, in particular in connection with a sale, merger, or other reorganisation of our business; we will inform you of any such transfer, and any transfer of personal data will remain subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. These Terms exist in English and Czech; in case of discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
